New white fascia, soffit and guttering on a bungalow

Roofing service

Guttering, fascias and soffits across Kent

New guttering, gutter repairs and full fascia and soffit replacement.

A well maintained drainage system is essential for protecting your property from water damage. We install, repair and replace gutters, fascias and soffits to ensure your roof stays in top condition all year round.

Guttering is the cheapest part of a roof to look after and the most expensive to ignore. Water running down a wall for a season does more damage than the blockage that caused it, and rotten fascias take the roof edge with them.

What the job involves

  • New guttering in the profile and colour to suit the property
  • Gutter repairs, realignment and clearing
  • Full fascia and soffit replacement, including the roof edge behind them
  • Downpipes and outlets checked so water actually leaves the building
  • Ventilation kept clear at the eaves

Included in this service

  • New guttering
  • Gutter repairs
  • Fascias and soffits

Two roofs, half an hour apart, two specifications

Sheltered, inland Ashford
Galvanised fixings
Perfectly sound here, and cheaper. Spending more would be spending for the sake of it.
Exposed, Lydd and Dymchurch
Stainless fixings
Quoted as standard rather than as an upgrade, because the cheaper option does not survive out here.

Salt off the Channel corrodes ferrous metal far faster than ordinary damp air. We have taken tiles off roofs on the coast after nothing more than a breezy week, purely because the nails holding them had rusted through. That is a specification failure, not a tile failure.

If a roofer quotes the same specification for a Lydd bungalow as for a sheltered terrace in town, they either do not know the difference or have not priced for it.

How we specify for each area

Ken was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative. He made sure we understood what didn't need work doing as well as what did, which is refreshingly honest and good to hear. Thank you.

Highly recommended , Very professional company, we got Kenny in through a recommendation, he gave us a reasonable price to re-roof our house. Everything was clean and tidy from start to finish and the outcome was beyond our expectations. Would definitely use again for our up and coming extension.
