Our patch runs from sheltered inland Ashford out to the fully exposed coast at Dymchurch and Lydd, and that is about twenty minutes. It matters more than it sounds. The same house, built the same way, ages completely differently at each end, so the right specification inland is the wrong one on the Marsh and the reverse is just spending for the sake of it. Wherever we quote, we quote the roof in front of us.
Most jobs start the same way, with a free quote, itemised in writing, setting out what is going on the roof rather than only what it costs. We are fully insured, we raise building regulations sign off at quote stage on any full re roof, and we keep a 24 hour call out running for the ones that will not wait.
