New roof installations across Kent and Romney Marsh
Full roof replacements in tile and slate, stripped back and rebuilt properly.
Whether you are building a new home or upgrading an existing property, our expert team installs durable, weather resistant roofs that stand the test of time. We work with a range of materials including tiles, slates and flat roofing systems to deliver a flawless finish.
A full re roof is the one job where the detail you cannot see afterwards matters most. Two quotes for the same roof can describe completely different work, so ours is itemised in writing and sets out what is actually being fitted rather than only what it costs.
What the job involves
Stripping the existing covering back to the rafters
New treated battens and a breathable membrane
Stainless fixings as standard on exposed coastal work
Tile or slate to match the property, or a new specification if you prefer
Mechanically fixed dry ridge and dry verge in line with BS 5534
Building regulations sign off raised with you at quote stage

Two roofs, half an hour apart, two specifications
Sheltered, inland Ashford
Galvanised fixings
Perfectly sound here, and cheaper. Spending more would be spending for the sake of it.
Exposed, Lydd and Dymchurch
Stainless fixings
Quoted as standard rather than as an upgrade, because the cheaper option does not survive out here.
Salt off the Channel corrodes ferrous metal far faster than ordinary damp air. We have taken tiles off roofs on the coast after nothing more than a breezy week, purely because the nails holding them had rusted through. That is a specification failure, not a tile failure.
If a roofer quotes the same specification for a Lydd bungalow as for a sheltered terrace in town, they either do not know the difference or have not priced for it.
Ken was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative. He made sure we understood what didn't need work doing as well as what did, which is refreshingly honest and good to hear. Thank you.

I got Owen round to quote for some missing roof tiles. The work was completed the next day and all left clean and tidy. Very happy with the work done

Highly recommended , Very professional company, we got Kenny in through a recommendation, he gave us a reasonable price to re-roof our house. Everything was clean and tidy from start to finish and the outcome was beyond our expectations. Would definitely use again for our up and coming extension.
