Privacy policy
How Premier Roofing handles the details you send through the website, what cookies the site uses, and how to get in touch about your data.
Who we are
This website belongs to Premier Roofing and Building Kent Ltd, company number 17068186, trading as Premier Roofing, of Shadoxhurst, Ashford, Kent. We are the data controller for anything you send through it.
If you have a question about your data, or you want a copy of it or it deleted, phone 01233 234554 or email premier_roofing@hotmail.com.
What we collect when you enquire
The enquiry form asks for your name, your phone number, optionally your email address, which service you need and whatever you write in the message box. Alongside it we record which page you sent it from, so we know whether an enquiry came from the home page or a service page. That is everything. There is no account to create and nothing else is recorded.
We use it for one thing, which is getting back to you about the work. We do not sell it, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
The lawful basis is legitimate interest, specifically responding to someone who has asked us to quote for a job.
Where an enquiry goes
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the message straight to our inbox. It sits with them only as long as it takes to deliver, and they do not use it for anything of their own.
After that the message lives in our email, and we keep enquiries for up to two years so we can look back at a job we quoted or carried out. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
Cookies
This site currently sets no cookies at all and loads no third party tracking scripts. There is nothing to opt in or out of.
If that changes, and we do expect to add website analytics so we can see which pages are useful, this page will say so before anything is set, and you will be asked first.
Other sites we link to
We link out to our Checkatrade and Google profiles so you can check our reviews where we cannot edit them. Those are their sites, not ours, and their own privacy policies apply once you are there.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Just phone or email and we will sort it out. There is nothing to pay.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you spoke to us first.
